Healing with Massage-
For centuries, people relied on the earth's natural resources to feed, nourish, heal, and grow the body and mind. Today, we often rely upon the creations of man: drugs, chemicals, and synthetic minerals. We have created problems for our bodies in our attempts to find cures and grow foods faster. The human body becomes confused as it takes in elements it cannot distinguish, so the body stores some of these "toxins" in the cells of tissue. Detoxifying results in lymphatic and circulatory stimulation assisting the body in draining fats and toxins, thereby improving one's health.
What does this have to do with Massage Therapy? Very often, we see the results of long-term muscle tension, injuries and neglected muscle tissue health. We break down, "knots" constantly. We reduce "trigger points" often. We reduce pain and discomfort by re-educating the muscle, improving circulation and moving out the "impurities" that manifest themselves in our soft tissues.
